Our tournament on September 29 was a very tough day of fishing for most of our club members. Bill Piggott was the runaway winner with 14.26 lbs., George Locke showed his prowess by fishing second with 12.29 lbs. I struggled all day just to catch 5 keepers and I was very surprised to learn that my 7.53 lbs. with only four fish was good enough for third place. We did have a nice smallmouth lunker -4.18 lbs. of smallmouth caught by Anthony Curcurito.
