Our season opener on Lake George. The first day leaders had solid 12+ lb limits, a bit lower than what most anglers were expecting to see at the scales. The top 3 after one day of fishing were Jim Underhill (3rd place), newcomer David Black (2nd place) and leading, George Locke. Lunker fish included a 3.64 lb LM caught by Jim Underhill and a 4.24 lb LM caught by Elisha Flint.
Day 2 weights were slightly lower overall. Top 3 weights included Al Maher, Gene Lavigne and Frank Rossetti. Second day lunker honors went to the Al's, with Al Dickinson's 3.74 lb LM and Al Maher's 3.84 lm SM.
The final weights were extremely close, with places 2-8 separated by only 1.09 lbs. The top 3 positions went to Paul Pflieger (3rd), Matt Zapala (2nd) and bringing home the win, Gene Lavigne.
