The Club opened our 2024 points tournament season on Northern Champlain out of the Great Chazy River launch site on June 8, 2924. As usual we encountered some winds on the lake, but these were overcome by the 13 members who fished the tournament. While the fishing was not quite as good as expected, there were a few good limits weighed in including 15.75 by Elisha Flint, 14.88 by Anthony Curcurito, and 14.16 lbs. by David Black. Lunker of the day was a 4.99 Largemouth. There were nine 5- fish limits out of 13 anglers. Day 2 was cancelled due to the weather forecast.
