Our last tournament of the year was switched for the 3rd year in a row. The Mohawk will have to wait yet another year to see if we get out there at the end of our season. Needless to say we moved it to Saratoga Lake out of the South Bay Marina. Kudos for them accommodating us in the last minute. Now back to the action. Our BassMan race was basically the "Battle of the AL's". Al Maher (aka "Mr. Consistency") our current BassMan and Al Dickenson. Well with a resounding win for the 3rd time this season Al Dickenson took the prize on Saratoga Lake and also took the BassMan title for 2014. Congratulations Al D. on a great victory. As the bags started coming in at Saratoga, it was clear that 1 fish could make it or break it for anyone. The weights were that close. With 22 anglers in the field, 20 limits were caught with a total of 103 fish and a total weight of exactly 200.00 lbs.! Less than 1 pound separated first place from eleventh place making it literally anybody’s tournament to win! When all the bags were weighed in, Al Maher came out on top with 11.03 lbs. which included a 2.87 lb. largemouth. Second place went to Paul Pflieger, and Frank Rosetti. Congratulations Al on your win!
Congratulations to all for a wonderful 2013 season. Not let's hope for a light winter so we can get back to fishing soon. Final Results We are off to the races with our second week on Saratoga Lake. This week was our points tournament which saw Joey Curcurito take the win followed by Jim Underhill and George Locke. Great showing by all! Results: Final Results Photos: Click Here Congrats to George and Beverly Locke for winning the annual He/She Tournament. Results: Not Available Official results have been posted. Congratulations to Joe Curcurito on an impressive 27+ lbs for 2 days on what has become a tough lake. Also, for the first time that I can recall, the entire club was able to catch a limit on both days...very nicely done! Bassman standings have also been updated and the race has tightened up quite a bit at the half-way point of our season.
