| Our opening tournament on LK Champlain was a very successful event with 19 club members participating. The weather was good for us (After a minor wind delay on Saturday) and the fishing was good. This is a great place to fish in June (And a great place to fish later in the summer). Congratulations to the winner Al Dickinson who blew the field away with a total of 32.40 lbs. Also good job to new member Anthony Curcurito Jr. who finished second with 29.00 lbs and Frank Polomaine who finished third with 28.75 lbs. Anthony also leads the lunker of the year race at 4.25lbs.  Our first points tournament was at Rouses Point. We had two very different weather days for our first tournament of the year. Cloudy, rainy and overcast on day one and mostly sunny on day 2. That didn't keep Mike Richard from taking the win with 29.55 lbs. Our President Brady Moy takes a very close second with 29.33 lbs and to round out our top 3, the veteran Terry Fleming comes in with 28.98 lbs.

Congratulations to Jimmy Underhill on the win. He was able to bring in over 30 pounds during the 2 day event. We'll hear how he did it at our next meeting, Friday, July 6.
